A Curl's Best Friend may send text messages to clients who provide a mobile number and consent. Consent is never required to book an appointment or to buy anything.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time.

How we collect consent
We collect text message consent in three ways. First, in the chat window on our Text Us page: you enter your mobile number in the chat and agree to texts before any are sent. Second, through the text message consent checkbox when you book an appointment through Vagaro. Third, through the optional, unchecked text message consent checkbox on the form on our Contact page. Consent is never required to book or buy.
The website live chat on our other pages is not a text message opt-in, and we do not text anyone from it.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your appointments and the permissions you have given, up to about 4 messages per month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. A Curl's Best Friend does not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
How to opt out
- Reply STOP to any message from us to stop all messages.
- You can also text STOP to (562) 550-5841 at any time.
- You will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages.
- Opt-out requests are processed immediately.
- You can opt back in at any time by texting us or by asking at your next appointment.

Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
Carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information is not shared
No mobile information will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
