These terms apply when you use this website, book an appointment with A Curl's Best Friend, or receive messages from us.

1. Acceptance

By using this website or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Our services

A Curl's Best Friend provides curly hair cutting, styling, curl education and related salon services at 22691 Lambert Street, Suite 504, Lake Forest, CA 92630. Service descriptions and prices on this site are for information and may change; the price confirmed at booking is the price that applies.

3. Booking, deposits and payment

  • Appointments are booked through our scheduling platform at Vagaro.
  • We require a credit card to hold your appointment. We do not charge any amount until your service is complete.
  • Payment is due at the time of service.

4. Cancellation and no-shows

Please give your stylist a minimum of 24 hours notice if cancelling. This allows us time to fill your spot. No-shows and cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will be charged full price.

If you arrive 20 minutes late or more without notice, your stylist reserves the right to cancel or alter your service.

5. Salon policies

  • To get the most from our time together, please refrain from bringing guests, children or pets to your appointment.
  • Minors 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult throughout.

6. Results

Every curl pattern, density and hair history is different. We will always tell you honestly what we believe is achievable for your hair, but we cannot guarantee a specific outcome, and we do not guarantee results from photographs of other clients.

7. Text messages

If you consent to text messages, the terms of our SMS Program apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

What you will receive

By opting in, you may receive text messages from A Curl's Best Friend including replies to consultation inquiries, appointment scheduling and confirmations, post-visit review requests, and occasional promotional or win-back offers.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Age requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

8. Products

Retail products are sold through our Vagaro store. Returns and exchanges on opened hair products are handled case by case; contact us at hairbycin@yahoo.com.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including photography of our work, is owned by A Curl's Best Friend or used with permission, and may not be reproduced without written consent.

10. Third-party services

Booking, payments, messaging and chat are provided by third-party platforms with their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for those platforms’ content or availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A Curl's Best Friend is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
